Our database search lets you quickly find a voting record by bill or by legislator. The database is updated every night with the votes cast that day and is archived so you can access it anytime you wish in future years.

Propsed (Introduced) Bills

These are the bills that have been formally proposed so far during the 2008 General Session.
• Word Search in all bills.
• Look up a Utah Code section or chapter.
  (See all the PROPOSED changes a bill would make to a particular part of the code.)
• Bills listed by TITLE
• Bills listed by NUMBER
• Bills listed by SPONSOR
• Bills released by DAY (Separate lists by day of the bills released (or changed) each day.)

Passed Bills

These are the bills that, to date, have passed and been put in final form (enrolled) and will be the new laws unless vetoed by the Governor.
• Word Search in all ENROLLED bills (New laws). (COMPLETE LIST)
• Look up any Utah Code section or chapter. (See the changes actually made to it.) (COMPLETE list)
• ENROLLED Bills listed by TITLE (COMPLETE list)

Personalized Bill Tracking List

Select a list of bills you want to track during the session. We will save the list for you. Each time you look at your list, we will gather and link all available information about each bill on your list right at the moment you call it up. You can edit the list anytime. The information linked to your list includes: text, amended versions, substitutes, status, fiscal notes, exactly where in the process your bill resides, where in any committee agenda or minutes or any day's journal your bill is mentioned.

Daily Schedule of Bills Being Considered.

During the session, you will be able to get a complete list of all bills on any agenda or calendar set for consideration on any day you select (for any day of a general session in so far as the information has been released and distributed by the Legislature.) This list is formated in a single document ready to be printed out so you can take it with you.

Bill drafting requests (Topics of bills in the drafting process.)

These are the TOPICS of bills requested by individual legislators or legislative committees that have not yet been finalized and numbered. These requests may, but not necessarily will, be drafted into a finalized bill and introduced during the upcomming session.
