1996 Utah Legislative Historical Information
All pages linked from this page have headings that
start with "1996" and link to 1996 historical data only.
In other respects they are just like they were when they were
the current year pages.
This site is the historical repository for Code-Co's 1996 Legislative
Tracking information. This information is kept just as it was used
during the 1996 General Session and Interim. Until the new legislators
are elected and new committees formed in December, 1996, interim
information will be kept and updated first on the main pages.
After that time, all 1996 Interim information will only be found
by the links above. All 1996 bill information is available here from
the links above.
The text on these pages is the same as it was during 1996 when these
pages were part of the main (current) legislative site with very few
exceptions. Some explanations or text may, therefore, be out of place.
All links from these pages are to other 1996 data no matter what
description may be reflected on the page. The main headings on all
these pages have been changed to start "1996" to help identify where
you are.
The public information information here comes from the Utah
Legislature.
The primary source for the public
information on this site is the Office of Legislative Research
and General Counsel, Richard Strong Director. Other significant
information comes from the Utah State Senate, the Utah House of
Representatives and the Legislative Fiscal Analyst.
