GOVERNOR's ACTIONS

Passed Bills in Final (ENROLLED) Form

Any vetoed bill is labled in the title with "Vetoed."

The Legislature can override a veto at a veto override session if they call such a session and get a 2/3 vote. If a veto is overriden, the bill will become law despite the governor's veto and we will remove the "vetoed" flag from these lists.

Introduced (Proposed) Bills

These are the bills that were introduced (formally proposed) during the 2005 General Session (Which has now ended.)

Bill drafting requests (Topics of bill-ideas as they went through the drafting process.)

These are the TOPICS of bills requested by individual legislators or legislative committees for this session. These lists were available before the actual bill had been finalized and numbered. Any topic remaining on the list was never completed as a bill.
